Inspiration for this Collection:

Sometimes I find myself trying something new, and it’s only when I’ve been doing it for a while that I wonder what sent me down this path. Recently I started hammering, trying all sorts of mark making. I found the hammering process satisfying, but why. Then I realised how concerned I am about climate change, especially since my two grandchildren were born. I feel frustrated that the world cannot come together to tackle this problem. 

We are all profoundly influenced by what is going on around us. It requires a conscious effort to comprehend our genuine reactions fully. In my former life as a psychotherapist I learned how important it is to create space to get in touch with one’s feelings and make sense of them. In this case the channeling of my feelings has been transformative, touching into a creative energy that allows me to regain a sense of mastery as I forge the metal into a new collection of jewellery. I trust that this collection will leave an impression, and that you will enjoy wearing it!
